Grooming is not just a technical skill.
It is an emotional experience.

At the HGA we teach groomers through our Behaviour Grooming Diploma how to recognise pain, fear, consent, cooperation, and sensory overwhelm so every dog is treated as an individual, not a coat type.

Based upon the ABWGF principles, our course introduces a more welfare-centred approach to grooming practices that puts the emotional needs of dogs at the forefront of every grooming decision you make.

We are also excited to introduce our new HGA Licensed Training Instructor course designed for aspiring educators who are passionate about delivering and inspiring our next generation of welfare-led groomers through our award-winning courses!
